Today I have made a sketch note about the life of a cheetah. I was also researching information about where they live and what they eat. I just found out that cheetahs live in the south and eastern of africa, and that they hunt in tall grass.

Today I have been learning about an animal that starts with the letter of my name C. I have learnt about how they are adapted and how fast they run. Did you know that Cheetahs run up to 70 mph ? (Miles Per Hour).

Today Freeman and I have created a DLO about how to keep safe with fire works. We have watched a video about a 17 year old boy who got his hands blown up. So we ended up making a DLO about how to keep safe.

Character introduction

Today I have been creating this DLO about the Character Introduction for the Princess Bride. I used a google slide to create it. Each slide has a character and explains a bit about their role in the movie.

Shot types - DLO

Today I have created a DLO that shows what kind of shot types there are. They are involved in movies,E.P and others. My favourite type of a angle is a eye level because I now a bad thing is going to happen. My example is from the back to the future.

It's great to be me because I like being happy around people that I get comfortable with. E.G I like to be around with people that excite me with my learning, or I like to hang out with people that are normal and are themselves.   

Exploring myths and Legends.

In LS2 we have explored the myths and legend, I have use this website called story board that, to make a little story about how Maui brought fire to the world. The hard part about this was to choose the Characters so we could fit it in with our story. 

Cyber bullying DLO

Today I have created a DLO on 5 tips to witness bullying. I have watched some videos and info online and placed them into our own words. This would actually help people who get bullied online over the year.

Winter Solstice Animation

This is my animation that I have made with Calvin. In this animation we had to explain what the summer and winter solstice are and how seasons work. I new thing that I learnt while making this was that the summer solstice is the longest day in the year and the winter solstice is the shortest day in a year.

Plastic free July DLO

Yesterday Jericho and I started working on our plastic free July DLO but before we both started making this, we went down to the hall so we could do really cool activities about our land and other sort of things. I have basically learnt a lot from it and have put down one thing I have learnt so far.    

How to write an email DLO

Today I have created a DLO on how to send an email if you applying for a job. I think that this would be useful if i'm trying to apply for a job in the future because if I didn't I would be getting some mistakes and I would be missing out on the job.

Rubbish

This is a histogram chart that shows info about how long it takes to make rubbish get erased. It mostly takes tin cans over 50 to 100 years, aluminum cans take 80 years to get erased. When it comes to plastic bags it mostly takes forever for it to disappear in the ground.

I have created a DLO about Reduce, Reuse and recycle, I have placed in order what they all mean. I have attributed two logos about this task.

Te Taio O Tamaki

Today some of the students from our school went to Te Oro, so we could have a look at some interesting learning from other schools in our cluster that was being shared today. When we went in the theatre and watched our school preform, I really thought that they were awesome, they were confident in both their speaking and acting. I really loved the Kapa Haka group, because they were amazing at singing the Maori songs. I really enjoyed seeing the other schools creative work, and especially liked how the dolphins had been made with aluminium netting to show what happens when they eat rubbish.

Conserving water DLO

Today I have been working on a DLO with my two Partners Lyndon and Tewai. We have been talking about the flud that happend two weeks ago and how it started. We first looked at articles that explained about what would happen if we had no water or if its really dirty. Well we found some information and wrote them in our own words to our DLO. The reason why we are doing this, is because our watercare sally came to our class and talked about how waterdrain works and what would happen soon.

Omaru river

Today my partner Jericho and I were working on a DLO called the Omaru river. We had to find out how they pumped out the bad water and put in the clean water. We both looked and read 3 articles and found information about it. We also attributed the photo's to.

How to become a agent of change

Today I have worked on a DLO on how to become a agent of change. I could become a agent of change by telling people not to throw rubbish in the sea, because it would pollute the water then there would be no fishes around.

: I think that this is important because it would help people and the community to not put rubbish in the sea or down storm water

 

Tahuna Torea

This is a DLO that I have created with Lyndon. We were talking about what we were doing in Tahuna Torea. There are some images that me and Lyndon putted in about our walk and were the Godwits land from their migration.

How to make a Straw rocket

Today I have made a Task that shows how to make a straw rocket. When we did it at Tamaki Collage we had to listen carefully other wise we would not be able to did it. It was fun doing it but learning was needed.

Jean Batten & Manfred Von Richthofen

Today I have being working on timelines that tells about the lives of people that were famous and that flew across the world. We all started of with a time line about Jean batten. I worked together with my buddy Fifita, we were searching a lot of facts about Her. I learnt Jean Batten became famous for flying an air plane across the world. And she was named after the Auckland airport. The plane she flew and the statue of her is inside the airport, After doing that timeline Fifita and I worked on another person called Manfred Von Richthofen. He was in the war and died in 1918 age 28. He got shot from this person called Captain Arthur Roy Bron. This looked interesting and a lot of researching done.
