Kiwi sport - Badminton
Today group B went to kiwi sport so that we could do some badminton, our coach Kevin showed us how to do the back hand grip forward group. I have enjoyed playing with my partner Lyndon because we could cooperate and help each other with things that we were stuck on.

Learn Create Share
Today I have made a sketch note about the life of a cheetah. I was also researching information about where they live and what they eat. I just found out that cheetahs live in the south and eastern of africa, and that they hunt in tall grass.
Learn, Create, Share
Today I have been learning about an animal that starts with the letter of my name C. I have learnt about how they are adapted and how fast they run. Did you know that Cheetahs run up to 70 mph ? (Miles Per Hour).

How to keep safe with firework
Today Freeman and I have created a DLO about how to keep safe with fire works. We have watched a video about a 17 year old boy who got his hands blown up. So we ended up making a DLO about how to keep safe.

Badminton, Kiwi Sport
Ever since last week LS2 have been doing badminton with our coach, Kevin. He has been helping us play with a racket and shuttle, the shuttle is a really small feather looking thing with a big ball at the front, the shuttle is used to hit with the racket. Kevin has come from the badminton Auckland here is New Zealand and has now come here to show us really cool tricks in badminton. In the middle of our session we went into partners so we can challenge each other to see who can keep in control hitting the shuttle to one another. My partner was Dallas and we had loads of fun playing together. We give Kevin a really big thank you for us using the equipment and how to use them.

Explanation
On the first day of school, young students go to a class where they meet new students and start a new learning day. The first day of school is very challenging for kids because they don't know where to go and what to do.
The teachers teach new students how to do good things. They first teach them how to count up to number five and learn how to read easy words from A to Z.
Teachers teach children how to collaborate with each other, E.G (Help each other and share with each other)
Did you know students can learn from each other if they tell stories about very interesting things from cartoon movies. They can also explain what they did in the weekends that way they could almost do the exact same thing.
On my first day of school I was really the type of person who did things incorrectly, but in the help of my old teacher Mrs Macky, she taught me how to learn from my mistakes and to know how to do things that I got wrong. What I learnt was how to mix colours with painting.
On Monday we started doing an explanation writing sample so that we could practice before doing our writing test on Tuesday. We have started by planning for five minutes on what what we are going to write on our writing piece. After writing our whole explanation we started going into a group of four and we read each others work and gave feed back and feed forward.
